AIS CEMC Maths Competition
On 29 February, 30 students from grades 9, 10 and 11 participated in the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat (PCF) Contests organised by the CEMC University of Waterloo
These contests, comprising 25 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 60 minutes, provided an engaging platform for students to explore mathematical concepts and hone their problem-solving skills. With questions ranging from common curriculum topics to challenges requiring ingenuity and insight, the contests aimed to inspire confidence and enthusiasm for mathematics among participants, regardless of their prior experience with math competitions.
Overall, the PCF Contests served as a showcase of students’ mathematical ability and their eagerness to embrace intellectual challenges, highlighting their potential to excel in mathematics and beyond. Congratulations to our students on their efforts!
